Youngstown woman killed in Portage County crash

PALMYRA — Neetika Dhir, 29, of Youngstown was killed in a crash on Interstate 76 westbound, west of state Route 225 in Portage County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol Ravenna post. Dhir, traveling eastbound, drove through the snow covered median around 6:30 p.m. Monday and slid into the westbound lane, striking the front end of a semi tractor-trailer traveling westbound in the passing lane. When the truck driver moved to the right lane, she was struck by another semi traveling westbound in the right lane, the patrol said. The truck drivers were not injured. What cause Dhir to cross the median is under investigation.
