Maltonics will observe their 47th anniversary during holiday season

YOUNGSTOWN — The 47th anniversary of their wedding will be observed Dec. 26 by Mr. and Mrs. George Maltonic, 4695 Pinegrove Ave.

The former Nancy Margaret Chingary and Mr. Maltonic were united in marriage Dec. 26, 1961, at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, where they are members. They are also members of Croatian Home Lodge 66.

The couple are parents of Wendy Maltonic of Missoula, Mont., and Heather Garber and Scott Maltonic, both of San Diego, Calif.

Mrs. Maltonic is retired from her position as accountant with the Youngstown Symphony.

Mr. Maltonic, who served with the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1953, was employed by Austintown School District as a teacher prior to retiring in 1993.
