Today: Two investigative reports into Dann’s actions

A report investigating ex-Attorney General Marc Dann is to released today.

The Ohio Inspector General’s office announced it will release the complete report, expected to be more than 1,000 pages, today.

The report will focus on allegations that Dann improperly used money from his campaign committee to benefit himself and his family. Dann strongly denies he misused his campaign fund.

Also, the Ohio Auditor’s office confirmed that it will also release the findings today of its investigation into Dann.

Dann of Liberty resigned under pressure May 14 shortly after the state Legislature authorized Inspector General Thomas Charles, formerly of Hubbard, to investigate the attorney general’s office during Dann’s tenure.
