OTHER PROJECTS Trumbull County


The Trumbull County Planning Commission is listing 15 other projects totaling about $90 million that have not yet been engineered that the department will ask the federal government to fund with federal stimulus money President-elect Barack Obama has pledged to provide after he takes office Jan. 20:

Scott Street area sanitary sewer project Phase 2 in Newton Township, $4 million.

Kinsman Township sanitary sewer project Phase 2, $3,175,000.

Mosquito Lake West Interceptor sewer project Phases 1 and 2 in Mosquito Lake State Park and Bazetta Township, $4 million.

Mosquito Creek waste treatment plant upgrade in Howland Township, $15 million.

Brookfield Township waste treatment plant upgrade, $10 million.

Heaton-Chute sanitary sewer project in Weathersfield Township, $1.5 million.

Karl Street sanitary sewer project in Warren Township, $275,000.

Kermont Heights sanitary sewer project in Hubbard Township, $2.5 million.

Maplewood Park area sanitary sewer project Phase 2 in Hubbard Township, $12 million.

Meadowbrook sanitary sewer project in Warren Township, $10 million.

An industrial access road in Girard and Youngstown, providing access to local highways, $8 million.

An industrial access road in McDonald, $2 million.

A renewable energy and sustainability center, location undetermined, $6 million.

Kent State University Trumbull Research & Development Park in Champion, $8,525,700.

West Farmington Group On-Site Treatment System, $2 million.

Golden Triangle storm sewer/detention pond in Howland, $1 million.
