Boil alert in effect for Campbell residents

CAMPBELL — A boil alert is in effect for the city.

The alert was put into effect as a precautionary measure after a water main break around 12:30 a.m. today at Robinson Road and Jefferson Street.

The Campbell Water Department is asking residents to boil all water used for cooking and drinking until noon Tuesday.

According to the department, the break has been repaired and was not as critical as originally thought.
