CHRISTMAS 1956: The Girls’ Choir of St. Ann Catholic Church in Youngstown got new white robes and red sashes in time for the Christmas Eve Mass. The Boys’ Choir wore traditional cassocks and surplices. Linda Bartholomew, center, was chosen to place a doll representing the Infant Jesus in a manger.
