Green Bay freezes North Dakota

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Ryan Tillema and Mike Schachtner scored 21 points each as Wisconsin-Green Bay beat North Dakota 96-58 Saturday.

The Phoenix (7-4) jumped on the Fighting Sioux from the start, with Rahmon Fletcher hitting a 3-pointer to open the game.

Green Bay scored on eight of its first nine possessions to take an 18-4 lead. Later, the Phoenix scored a maximum 15 points on five possessions, with Troy Cotton and Tillema making a pair of 3-pointers and Randy Berry converting a three-point play.

That spurt bumped the margin to 35-11, and Green Bay led 47-25 at halftime.

Wright St. 59, Oral Roberts 46

GUAYNABO, Puerto Rico — Troy Tabler scored 16 points as Wright State beat Oral Roberts in the San Juan Shootout on Saturday.

Tabler shot 5 of 7 for the Raiders (4-7), including 2 of 3 from 3-point range. John David Gardner added 13 points of 5 of 8 shooting.

The Golden Eagles (2-9) were led by Dominique Morrison, who finished with 14 points. Kevin Ford and Kyron Stokes chipped in with 10 points apiece. Ford also added a game-high 10 rebounds.

Wright State shot 36.7 percent from the field (22-for-60), and 78.6 percent from the free-throw line (11-for-14).

Oral Roberts shot 26.3 percent (15-for-57), and 60 percent from the free-throw line (12-for-20).

Loyola of Chicago 72, N. Illinois 62

DEKALB, Ill. — J.R. Blount scored 25 points, including 10 from the foul line, to lead Loyola of Chicago.

Loyola (6-5) dominated 30-25 before halftime and came back energized from the break to outscore Northern Illinois (4-8) 42-37 in the second period.

Marcus Thomas added 15 points and Justin Cerasoli had 12 points for Loyola. Leon Young had a game-high 10 rebounds.
