Detroit man found dead in Farrell

FARRELL, Pa. — A Detroit man, Troy Coleman, 38, was found dead of multiple gunshot wounds at 5:20 a.m. Saturday on the sidewalk in the 1200 Block of Roemer Boulevard near Indiana Avenue.

Police responded to a 911 call and found Coleman on the sidewalk next to a vehicle that had struck a nearby utility pole, according to a statement by police Chief Riley Smoot Jr. An autopsy of the victim is scheduled to be performed today in Erie, Pa., Smoot said.
