• YOUNGSTOWN — The exchange of nuptial vows took place during a 1 p.m. ceremony on Nov. 22 as Danielle Erin Polito, 4590 E. Lake Road, Erie, Pa., and Michael James Bratt, 2808 E. 27th St., Erie, were united in marriage by the Rev. Jonathon Moore at Highway Tabernacle.
The daughter of David and Kathryn Polito, 600 Squirrel Hill Drive, Boardman, and the son of Terrence and Elizabeth Bratt and Nancy and Thomas Bennett, all of Erie, were honored afterward during a reception at The Georgetown in Boardman.
The couple honeymooned at St. Lucia and live in Erie.
The bride’s A-line gown featured an empire waist and was embellished with metallic embroidery and pearls.
Bridget Franklin, the bride’s cousin and honor attendant, wore a red gown, as did the bridesmaids, Kelly Towsey, Meghan Johnson, Kelly Wegley, the groom’s sister, and Kori Bratt, his daughter. Flower girl was Maryssa Bratt, his niece.
William Avey served as best man, and groomsmen were Mark Bratt, the groom’s brother; Peter Wegley, his brother-in-law; and the bride’s brothers, David and Dominic Polito. Ushers were the groom’s sons, Kyle and Kaleb Bratt.
The bride is a graduate of Grove City College with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, and the groom earned a bachelor’s in operation management at Penn State Eire-The Behrend College. Both are in management with General Electric in Erie.
