• COLUMBUS — St. Peter Church was the setting at 2:30 p.m. July 19 for the wedding of Amanda Shak, a daughter of Mary and David Shak, 3672 Hiawatha Trail, Lima, and Atty. Richard Craven, a son of Richard and Carol Craven, 6650 Harrington Ave., Boardman.

The Rev. Nicholas Shori and the Rev. Thomas Craven, the groom’s uncle, officiated, and a reception followed at Bridgewater Banquet Center.

Since returning from a honeymoon at St. Lucia, they live at 8291 Annandale Lane.

Adorned with crystal beading, the bride’s strapless diamond-white gown featured a sweetheart neckline and a pickup skirt.

Red and white gowns were worn by Becky Shak, the bride’s sister and honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Kristyn Singleton, the groom’s sister, and Katie Weimer, Alison Bruns, Jaclyn Speece and Kristin Frondorf.

Chris McCray performed the duties of best man, and serving as groomsmen were Greg Shak, the bride’s brother; Tony Giannobile; Zack Cook; Ben Cook; and Joe Clautti. Ring bearers were David and Matthew Singleton, nephews of the groom, and Chase Adam, his godson.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering at Ohio State University and is an engineer with Mettler Toledo.

The groom is an attorney with Golian and McCaffrey Law Firm. He received a bachelor’s degree in business law from OSU and his juris doctorate from Capital University Law School.
