Mississippi State coach Rick Stansbury made the trip despite being hospitalized earlier in the week for a viral infection. He had a look of anguish on his face as the Bulldogs got shredded in the first half. Cincinnati (8-2) made a season-high 12 3-pointers, nine of them in the first half. Oakland, Mich. 79, Wis.-Green Bay 76, OT

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Erik Kangas 3-pointer with 52 seconds left in overtime lifted Oakland. Kangas came off a screen, got the ball in the corner and fired his 3-pointer over Green Bay’s Terry Evans, who had blocked Kangas’ shot at the end of regulation to preserve the tie. That gave Oakland a 75-73 lead. The Golden Grizzlies (7-5) then made 4-of-4 free throws in the final 23.2 seconds to hand the Phoenix (6-4) its first home loss of the season.
