Chevrolet Centre turns into a Rockefeller Center

YOUNGSTOWN — Men, women and children are invited to experience the fun and excitement of Rockefeller Center in wintertime right here in Youngstown.

On Sunday, the Chevrolet Centre will be open to the public from 6 to 8 p.m. for a holiday skating time sponsored by Kidskate and the Skating Club of Greater Youngstown.

Skaters of all ages and abilities will be welcome, and free skating lessons will be provided for beginners by a qualified coaching staff.

Those attending will skate around a 25-foot Christmas tree at center ice as holiday music sets the mood for the celebration. There will also be a surprise visit from a very “special guy” and other distinguished guests.

Admission for the evening is $5, and a limited supply of rental skates will be available for $3.
