CHRISTMAS STOCKINGS: In preparation for the holiday season, residents at Whispering Oaks Retirement Community, 260 S. Buhl Farm Drive, Hermitage, Pa., filled 86 stockings to be delivered before Christmas to Prince of Peace Center in Farrell, Pa., an affiliate of the Erie Diocese Catholic Charities and United Way of Mercer County that helps those in need as they restore their lives. Among those working on the project are, seated from left, Rose Marletto, Alice Vasilenko, Mary Buchovinsky and Dominic Marletto, and standing, Betty Perjol and Betty Lutton. Putting the workers in the mood for the holiday undertaking were carols sung by members of the Keystone Blind Association Keystone Kids.
