LAURA SEMCHEE/TIM PHILIBIN
• YOUNGSTOWN — Laura Semchee and Tim Philibin were united in marriage on July 12 at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church during a ceremony solemnized by the Rev. Richard Lambert.
A reception afterward at St. Mary’s Social Hall honored the daughter of Russell and Cheryl Semchee of Hermitage, Pa., and the son of Mark and Karen Philibin of North Jackson.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Hawaii and live in Austintown.
Jennifer Griffing of Columbus and Nicole Keppler of Charlotte, N.C., were the honor attendants, and bridesmaids were Kim McKay of Boston and the groom’s sister, Jen Philibin of Akron. The bride’s cousin, Madeline Huff of Hermitage, was flower girl.
Performing the duties of best man was Adam Day of Berlin Center, and serving as groomsmen were Bill Snowden of Berlin Center, Chris Haddle of Youngstown and the bride’s brother, Jon Semchee of Erie, Pa. Ring bearer was Mathew Huff of Hermitage, a cousin of the bride.
Mrs. Philibin holds a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising from Kent State University and is the store manager at Foot Action in Boardman.
Mr. Philibin is employed by Armstrong Cable in Boardman.
