Gas station employee robbed in Warren

WARREN — An employee of a West Market Street gas station was ordered to get into a car and robbed at gunpoint late Wednesday but released unharmed.

The 19-year-old male employee was taking out the trash at Gas Land Express, 1744 W. Market St. at about 11:30 p.m. when a man approached him, ordered him into the robber’s car and demanded money. After the employee gave up his cash, he was released, he told police.
