MEN

Mount Union 73, Baldwin-Wallace 62

ALLIANCE — Chris Switzer scored a career-high 30 points to lead Mount Union (7-1, 2-1 Ohio Athletic Conference) to its second straight win. Fellow senior Luke Conley added 14 points to pace the Raiders. Louis Tumblin scored 15 points to lead the Yellow Jackets (2-6, 0-3). Mount Union took control with five minutes left in the first half after a back-and-forth start that featured nine ties and four lead changes. Leading 26-24, the Purple Raiders got a jumper from Conley and 3-pointer from King to extend the lead to 31-24. Mount eventually took an eight-point lead, 38-30, into the lockers. The Raiders opened the second half on a 14-4 run to take their largest lead of the game, 51-34 on a Ben Hodkinson 3-pointer with 14:16 left in the contest.

Slippery Rock 82, Davis & Elkins 62

INDIANA, Pa. — Senior guard Erroll Robinson scored a team-high 17 points to lead The Rock in second-day action of the Indiana Regional Medical Center Holiday Classic. Senior point guard Kyle Camper added 15 points and nine assists for The Rock (8-1). Sophomore guard Bryen Spriggs chipped in 12 points, while senior wing player Jamar Scales garbbed a team-high nine rebounds. The Rock outscored Davis & Elkins (2-6) by a 14-5 margin in the final five and a half minutes of the first half to take a 41-32 lead into intermission and never looked back.

WOMEN

Pitt-Johnstown 74, Slippery Rock 71

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. — Senior guard Amanda Nero (Lowellville) scored a team-high 16 points and senior post player Sasha Sales grabbed 21 rebounds to lead The Rock. Senior post player Alissa Schake chipped in 12 points and seven rebounds for The Rock, who saw their season record fall to 3-5, while junior wing player Julie Molloy added 10 points. Sales finished with eight points and junior guard Nikki Presto had six points, six rebounds and five assists.

Baldwin-Wallace 67, Mount Union 54

BEREA — Mount Union had its worst shooting night of the season, converting just 15-of-41 shots in the loss. Sophomore Lauren Forquer came off the bench to tally a career-high 15 points to go along with six rebounds, while freshmen Nancy Faulhaber and Amanda Rose each had 12 points to pace Mount Union (5-2, 2-1 OAC). Jessica Butzer and Amanda Schroeder each scored 13 points to lead Baldwin-Wallace (4-3, 1-2 OAC).
