• EAST HAVEN, Conn. — Costa Rica was the honeymoon destination of Nicholas Dominick Gentile, 36022 Shining Tree Lane, Salem, and his bride, the former Andrea Dawn Forte, 65 Florence Road, Branford, Conn., after their Aug. 8 wedding at Our Lady of Pompeii Church.
The Rev. James Shanley officiated at the 4 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Thomas Forte and Joyce Forte, both of Connecticut, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gentile of Pulaski, Pa.
A reception was held at the Inn at Villa Bianca in Seymour, Conn.
Coral-colored gowns were worn by Colleen Kisaka, the bride’s sister and honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Michelle Galazia and Carla Gentile, sisters of the groom; Nicola Wallinger; and Elizabeth Bodner. Flower girl was the groom’s niece, Olivia Galazia.
Fred Gentile was best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Nicholas Boehm, Ricardo Vera, Wade Ulanowicz and Takuya Kisaka , the bride’s brother-in-law. Ring bearer was the groom’s nephew, James Gentile.
An intervention specialist with Mahoning County Educational Service Center in Poland, the bride graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Conn., with a master’s degree in special education.
The groom earned a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering at Penn State Erie-The Behrend College in Erie, Pa. He is a process engineer with Allegheny Ludlum in Louisville, Ohio.
