NBA \ Tuesday’s games and news
Cavaliers: Cavaliers starting center Zydrunas Ilgauskas is out of the walking boot, but he’s not quite ready to get back into Cleveland’s lineup. Ilgauskas will miss tonight’s game in Minnesota with a sprained left ankle he injured last week in Philadelphia. On Tuesday, Ilgauskas said he’s hoping to return to the practice floor on Thursday and maybe play in the Cavs’ game in Denver on Friday.
Ilgauskas doesn’t want to come back too quickly. He did that with a similar injury three years ago and missed more time.

HOUSTON — Tracy McGrady notched his fourth career triple-double and first this season, Yao Ming scored 32 points. McGrady had 20 points and reached season highs in rebounds (14) and assists (10) for his first triple-double since last December. Ron Artest scored 20 points off the bench and backup point guard Aaron Brooks added 18 poi\nts for the Rockets, who’ve won five of their last seven games despite a seemingly unending rash of injuries.
Hornets 91, Grizzlies 84
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Chris Paul had 18 points, nine assists and five steals, James Posey scored nine of his 15 points in the fourth quarter. The loss snapped Memphis’ four-game winning streak, its longest of the season. The Hornets won for the fifth time in six games despite struggling from the field at times. David West also scored 18 points. Paul was just 3-of-10 from the field but made 11 of 12 free throws. Rudy Gay led Memphis with 28 points and O. J. Mayo added 20.
Clippers 98, Thunder 88
OKLAHOMA CITY — Zach Randolph had 22 points and 13 rebounds for his fourth straight double-double, and rookie Eric Gordon fueled a 10-point run in the fourth quarter. Gordon answered a right-handed dunk by Kevin Durant by scoring the first six points in a 10-0 run, and the Clippers led 87-73 after Mardy Collins’ steal and two-handed runout jam. Gordon finished with 22 points, Baron Davis scored 19, and Marcus Camby added 13 points and 15 rebounds as all of the Clippers starters’ reached double figures. Los Angeles has won three straight for the first time since starting last season 4-0. Durant led Oklahoma City with 23 points.
Bobcats 110, Bulls 101, OT
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — D.J. Augustin scored a career-high 29 points while outplaying fellow rookie point guard Derrick Rose, and the undermanned Charlotte Bobcats snapped a seven-game losing streak. Augustin forced overtime by hitting three free throws with 19 seconds left after Rose fouled him on a 3-point attempt. Augustin put it away with four more from the line in the final 42 seconds of OT, giving Charlotte an unlikely win as it played most of the game without two starters. Rose had a rare bad game in what’s been a remarkable rookie season for the No. 1 overall pick, held to six points on 3-of-16 shooting, with seven assists.
