Volunteers sought for Christmas food basket project for New Middletown and Springfield Township

NEW SPRINGFIELD — Volunteers are needed to pack and distribute baskets for the annual Christmas food basket project which serves New Middletown and Springfield Township.

Bob Carson of the Community Christmas Basket Committee said help is needed to pack the baskets beginning at 6 p.m. Friday at the Springfield High School Cafeteria.

Additional help is needed starting at 9 a.m. Saturday at the school cafeteria to distribute the baskets throughout the community.
