Tractor-trailer driver dies in accident on I-80 in Pa.

MERCER, Pa. — A tractor-trailer driver was killed in a rollover on Interstate 80 between Hermitage and Mercer, state police in Mercer reported.

Raphael Roberts, 37, of Reynoldsville, Pa., was killed instantly in the accident at 8:07 a.m. today, police said.

Roberts was heading west on the highway when, for reasons unknown, he traveled off the right side of the road, police said.

When he tried to steer out of the mistake, his load shifted and caused the rollover, police said.

The right lane of westbound I-80 was closed for about two hours, police said.
