Boil warning issued for some Lordstown water customers

LORDSTOWN —The Lordstown Water Department has issued a boil warning effective immediately for customers from 636 to 1055 Salt Springs Road only.

The warning will be in effect until 2 p.m. Friday unless otherwise notified.

A boil warning means that any water used for drinking or cooking must be boiled for at least three minutes before using. This only applies to drinking water and not water used for bathing or washing clothes.
