ReStore plans holiday open house party
STRUTHERS — Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore is having a Christmas open house from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Take the kids to see Santa and enjoy cookies, doughnuts, candy canes and a holiday discount off of every purchase.
All proceeds assist with the building of Habitat homes in Mahoning County.
Trumbull ski club to host learning day at Cockaigne
CORTLAND — The Good Times Ski Club of Trumbull County will host its third annual Learn to Ski/Snowboard Day at Cockaigne Resort in New York on Jan. 3.
The all-day event is open to the public. The cost to attend is $60 for members and $70 for nonmembers. Children are welcome when accompanied by a parent.
Participants will receive bus transportation to and from Cockaigne, an all-mountain lift ticket and a free lesson (beginner and beyond). Cockaigne will also host a social hour for participants before they leave for home.

Flowers joins Rotary
AUSTINTOWN — Beverly A. Flowers was recently inducted into the Rotary Club of Austintown during a ceremony performed by Chuck Baker.
Flowers is a resident of Austintown and has worked with Christoff Management for more than 30 years. Her husband is semi-retired, and the couple have two children and three grandchildren.
