• CLEARWATER, Fla. — The wedding of Kelly Burns and Ryan Placer, both of 4892 Westchester Drive, Youngstown, took place on Sept. 12 on Sand Key Beach at Clearwater Beach, Fla.
The Rev. Fred Allen officiated at the 7 p.m. ceremony.
After honeymooning at Clearwater Beach, the couple returned to their home in Youngstown. They were honored at a reception on Sept. 27 at the Regency House, Youngstown.
Parents of the bride are Robert and Ann Burns, 1667 Lancaster Drive, Youngstown, and the groom is a son of Ellen Monroe, 1757 Brockton Drive, Youngstown, and Raymond Placer of Niles.
The bride’s handmade off-the-shoulder-style gown was enhanced with pearls and Swarovski crystals, and she held a bouquet of Shasta daisies and rosebuds.
Sage-colored gowns were worn by Erica (Hudack) Goodwin of Carlton, Mich., the honor attendant, and the flower girl Ariana Petrillo of Symrna, Ga., a cousin of the groom.
The duties of best man were performed by the groom’s brother, Brandon Placer of Largo, Fla.
Mrs. Placer is a licensed account specialist with Integrity Insurance and Financial Services in Boardman.
Mr. Placer is a concrete finisher with Camuso Concrete in Canfield.
