CANFIELD — Jillian Halfhill had a career-high 34 points as Canfield rolled past Liberty. Anokhya Padubidri added 14 points for the Cardinals (2-3). Liberty, which fell behind 43-18 at halftime, was led by Melissa Dykes with 18 points.

Struthers 49, Poland 40

STRUTHERS — Katelyn Ardale scored 19 points while Dana Mathews had 16 to lead Struthers (3-2). The Wildcats outscored Poland in the third quarter by 21-9 to take control of the game. Lauren Tadla had 19 points for the Bulldogs (2-3).

LaBrae 49, Bristol 29

LEAVITTSBURG — Bayle Boggs scored 18 points and pulled down 17 rebounds to lead Labrae (1-4) to its first win of the season. Courtney Aldridge added 15 rebounds as the Vikings outrebounded their opponents 49-26. Alyssa Giesy led Bristol with 13 points and went over the 1,000 point mark in her career.

Beaver Local 48, Niles 17

NILES — Jan Cianni tossed in 14 points, almost outscoring the entire Niles team. The Red Dragons, who scored just 10 points over the first three quarters, were led by Theresa Rolfe with six points.
