Events celebrate 50th anniversary of the Fauvers
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Fauver
• BOARDMAN — A series of events marked the 50th wedding anniversary of Larry and Marcella Fauver of Boardman.
A dinner party on Oct. 4 was hosted by their children at Caff Capri. Also, the couple renewed their marriage vows during a Mass officiated by Bishop George V. Murry at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown and again during an anniversary Mass at St. Luke Church, where they are members and sing in the choir.
The couple’s children are Benjamin and Patty Fauver of Strongsville, Denise and Raymond Hripko of Medina and Larry and Deborah Fauver of Knoxville, Tenn. Rounding out the family are five grandchildren, Auburn and Chad Fauver and Erika, Brad and Kaitlyn Hripko. The entire family joined the Fauvers on a trip to Mexico, a gift from the children.
Mr. Fauver and the former Marcella Russo were united in marriage on Oct. 4, 1958, at Immaculate Conception Church in Youngstown.
Mrs. Fauver is a homemaker. Mr. Fauver retired in 1997 as an area coordinator for the United Food and Commercial Workers in Youngstown. They belong to Local 880 Retirees Club.
