• POLAND — The Rev. Daniel Vargo officiated at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 1 at Poland United Methodist Church for the marriage of Ashley Moore, daughter of Raymond and Barbara Moore, all of 8414 Hilltop Drive, and Jacob Zimmerman, son of Donald and Carol Zimmerman, all of 1746 S. Hubbard Road, Lowellville.

A reception followed at the Regency House in Austintown, then the couple left for a honeymoon in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

The bride’s white halter gown was designed with an A-line skirt leading to a chapel train and was trimmed with lace appliques.

Gabrielle Massey of Boardman served as her sister’s matron of honor, and Kristen Stanyard of Poland was the bridesmaid. They wore eggplant-colored gowns.

Kevin Fuschetto of Canfield and Chris Paxos of Warren shared the duties of best man. Guests were ushered by Daniel Sidwell of Caldwell and David Eliser of Cleveland.

The couple live in Poland.

The bride is a substitute teacher for Poland and Struthers school districts. She earned her bachelor’s degree in education at Youngstown State University.

The groom, who holds a doctorate in pharmacy from Ohio Northern University in Ada, is an emergency room pharmacist at Akron General Medical Center.
