2 stabbed in brawl

WARREN — A bouncer and another man were stabbed during a brawl at a West Market Street tavern early Saturday that may have involved gunshots fired in the parking lot.

When police arrived at the 2:03 a.m. incident at the G&S Bar, 2823 W. Market St., they found overturned tables and chairs and blood drops inside and outside the tavern.

The 39-year-old bouncer, of Warren, said he doesn’t know how he got stabbed in the leg but that it apparently happened when the bar “erupted into a brawl.” Police said they also were told that gunshots were fired in the parking lot.

The bouncer and a 25-year-old man, also of Warren, were treated at area hospitals for stab wounds. The second man said he had been stabbed several times and was taken by his cousin to Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

No arrests were made.
