Walsh suffers 75-63 defeat to Cumberlands

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. — Walsh fell behind early and suffered from a poor shooting night in a 75-63 loss to Cumberlands Thursday night.

The Cavaliers (4-7) shot just 36 percent (8-of-22) from the field in the first half and trailed 45-27 at halftime.

Walsh outscored Cumberlands (9-2) 36-30 after the intermission.

Katie Berry led Walsh with 14 points on 5-of-13 shooting. She was 2-of-3 on 3-pointers and added four rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Dianca Gordon added 13 points and five rebounds and Brittani Maddox had seven rebounds for the Cavaliers.
