Police seek female armed robber

JAMESTOWN, Pa. — State police in Mercer continue looking for a woman who robbed Shawkey’s Market on Liberty Street.

Police said the woman entered the store around 8 p.m. Wednesday and showed the clerk a large semiautomatic pistol.

She pointed the gun in the clerk’s face, they said. After getting an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber fled down an alley.

The suspect is described as white and in her late teens or early 20s, about 5 feet tall and with a heavy build.
