• WARREN — Julie Marie Johnson and Caleb Vern Muhs were married at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 30 at St. Mary Church by the Rev. Bernard Schmalzried.
After a reception at Squaw Creek Country Club in Vienna, the couple left for a honeymoon on St. Lucia.
The daughter of Allen and Nancy Johnson of 8793 South St., Howland, and the son of Ron and Sheri Muhs of 2208 North Huston, Grand Island, Neb., reside in New York City.
The bride wore a white satin strapless ball gown. The fitted bodice had a basque waist that flowed into a full skirt and cathedral-length train. The gown was embellished with embroidery and delicate hand-beading throughout.
Olive-green gowns were worn by maid of honor Melissa Johnson, sister of the bride, and bridesmaids Nicole Parish and Katherine Rogers. The flower girl was Lindsey Sonnenfeld, cousin of the groom.
Tyler Muhs performed the duties of best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Jeff Depue and Rahul Bonsal. Ring bearer was Matthew Hansen, a cousin of the groom.
Both the bride and groom are graduates of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., with bachelor’s degrees. Mrs. Muhs is employed as a risk analyst in sales and trading at Morgan Stanley in New York City. Mr. Muhs is employed by the FBI, also in New York City.
