CHRISTMAS GOALS: Witmer’s Inc., on state Route 14 between Salem and Columbiana, has set two goals for this Christmas season. The first is to help out the Way Station with food donations. The second is to put a smile on the faces of some children. Those who drop off a nonperishable food item at Witmer’s can register to win a Massey Ferguson pedal tractor and several other prizes. Nelson Witmer, president of Witmer’s, said: “We have a Pequea manure spreader in the showroom, and we would like to fill it as many times as we can with food to be donated to the Way Station.” The store is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday. Here, little Dominic Finley has provided Witmer a can of food so that he can register to win the pedal tractor, which is just his size.
