EAST LIVERPOOL — Kenny Carter scored 14 points Tuesday to lead the East High basketball team to a 70-67 road victory over East Liverpool.

Norman Johnson scored 13 points for the Panthers while Trumane Jenkins and Mark Thorton each had 11.

For the Potters, Jason Dickey scored 24 points while Marty Webb had 12.

HERMITAGE, Pa. — Nick Brown’s 24 points led Warren JFK (1-1) to a come-from-behind win. Warren JFK outscored Kennedy catholic 17-9 in the fourth quarter.

Steve Procopio and Mike Fredericka scored 14 and 12 points, respectively, for Warren JFK.

For Kennedy Catholic (2-1), Kyle Randall scored 19 points and made six of the team’s 21 rebounds. Phillip Kaikis sank six 3-pointers for 18 points.

West Branch 63, Southeast 58

RAVENNA — Tyler Rockwell scored six points in overtime and finished with 23 points for the Warriors (2-0).

Evan Campbell scored 23 points. Joe Dejacimo, who connected on four three-point baskets, led the Pirates (0-2) with 19 points. Ozzie Thomas finished with 12.
