Man killed after struck by cars

GIRARD – Christopher DiVincenzo, 37, of Girard was struck by two vehicles and killed while crossing south State Street at the intersection of Abbey Street at 11 p.m. Monday, according to Girard police.

He was pronounced dead a short time later at St. Elizabeth Health Center.

The first car to strike DiVincenzo stopped and no charges have been filed against the driver. The second vehicle believed to have struck DiVincenzo did not stop.

The vehicle is described as small and white in color, possibly driven by a female driver. The second vehicle likely does not have any damage, police said.
