• KENT — United Methodist Church of Kent was the setting on Aug. 23 as Lindsay Wargo and Ryan Loew, both of 6250 Gossard Ave., East Lansing, Mich., exchanged nuptial vows during a 3:30 p.m. ceremony officiated by Dr. David Palmer.
The daughter of George and Janelle Wargo, 858 Stonewater Drive, and the son of Jeff and Melanie Loew, 1302 Shannon Road, Girard, accepted congratulations later that day during a reception at Lake Forest Country Club in Hudson.
The bride wore a strapless ball gown of ivory organza shimmer lace. It featured a beaded corset bodice with rhinestones encircling the waist and a pleated skirt that flowed into a chapel train.
Chocolate-brown gowns with ivory accents were worn by Alicia Gauer, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Brynn Fisher, Sarah Durkalski, Megan Prochaska-Odellscott, Melissa Fisher, Danielle Jones and Marissa Sternburg.
The duties of best man were performed by Jeff Loew, and groomsmen were Greg Parks, Steve Scott, Neil Fisher, Colby Grimes, and Mike Nycz.
Mrs. Loew graduated from Kent State University with a degree in journalism. She is a publishing specialist with Thomson Reuters/West in Independence.
Mr. Loew is a journalist with Lansing State Journal in Michigan. He earned a degree in journalism at KSU.
The couple honeymooned at Montego Bay, Jamaica, and upon return, live in East Lansing.
