Drug abuse: Police found a plastic bag of suspected marijuana and a socket wrench with marijuana residue on a 17-year-old Canfield boy. He and his 15-year-old friend were arrested coming out of the bike trail and heading back to his car in the 40 block of Mallard Crossing.

Dec. 1

Theft: A graphics card was removed from a computer at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.

Assault: An altercation between a male and female student was reported in a classroom at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center.

Dec. 2

Theft: An impact wrench was reported missing from the auto tech lab at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center.

Drug abuse: Police arrested a 33-year-old Youngstown man on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse and for using weapons while intoxicated at a home in the 20 block of Hood Drive. Police found six shotgun shells, a brass-colored metal pipe containing marijuana a residue and a cigarette pack containing marijuana.

Dec. 1

Aggravated robbery: A man is suspected in a robbery at Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made using the victim’s credit card at a home in the 4000 block of Washington Square.

Theft: A cell phone was taken at Belleria Pizza, 3460 S. Meridian Road.

Burglary: A side door was kicked in but nothing appeared to be stolen at a home in the 4000 block of Lanterman Road.

Aggravated menacing: Threatening phone calls were made from an unknown man in the 20 block of Wickliffe Circle.

Fraud: A woman and man cashed the Social Security check of a deceased female at Check-Into-Cash, 4774 Mahoning Ave.

Auto theft: A 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass was stolen in the 10 block of North Raccoon Road and later in Youngstown.

Burglary: Golf clubs and stereo equipment were taken from a garage at home in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.

Menacing: A man suspect is accused of menacing at a home in the 5000 block of Oakcrest Drive.

Theft: A man was arrested for stealing five DVDs at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Telephone harassment: Hang-up calls were reported at a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to a victim’s account at a home in the 3000 block of Burkey Road.

Criminal damaging: A vent cover was damaged at Belleria West, 3460 S. Meridian Road.

Dec. 3

Assault: A 13-year-old student assaulted a teacher at Austintown Middle School, 800 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: A woman is a suspect in theft at Advance Check Cashing, 3700 Mahoning Ave.

Fraud: An AT&T account was accessed by a woman at Meridian Arms, 600 block of South Meridian Road.

Aggravated menacing: A man was a victim of menacing at Mahoning County Court No. 4, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Items were taken by the landlord at a home in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Telecommunications harassment: Calls were made by a man at an apartment in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.

Theft: A cell phone was taken from a locker at Frank Ohl Middle School, 255 Idaho Ave.

Theft: Items were taken by a landlord at a home in the 5000 block of Barkley Street.

Criminal damaging: A window was damaged by a BB gunshot at a home in the 4000 block of Crum Road.

Breaking and entering: 100 feet of copper wire was taken at a Verizon Cell Tower, 5310 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: A female juvenile was caught stealing at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Dec. 4

Theft: A fitness set was stolen from a home in the 100 block of Carnegie Ave.

Theft: Unauthorized charges were made on a credit card at a home in the 50 block of S. Turner Road.

Theft: A DVD player and medications were taken from a vehicle at the Austintown Plaza, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Recovered property: A 2000 Pontiac Sunfire that had been stolen in Niles was recovered at Go-Go Girls, 5455 Clarkins Drive.

Theft: Scratch off lottery tickets were stolen from the Unimart BP, 5502 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A man suspect was released on a summons for theft at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Identity theft: $1,400 in tickets were purchased fraudulently at a home in the 1000 block of Moorefield Ave.

Dec. 5

Theft: A cell phone was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Lake Road.

Criminal damage: Three tires were cut at a home in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at the Mahoning County Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities office, 130 Javit Court.

Harassment: A man reported that letters were being sent to his wife at a home in the 600 block of Duke Circle.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made on the victim’s credit card at a home in the 2000 block of Breezewood Drive.

Burglary: A burglary was reported at a home in the 4000 block of Kirk Road, but nothing was missing.

Menacing: An ex-employee was accused of menacing at Youngstown Propane, 810 N. Meridian Road.

Aggravated menacing: A 16-year-old student was verbally threatened at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Dec. 6

Drug offense: A Youngstown woman was issued a summons for drug and abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia at a home in the 4000 block of New Road.

Drug offense: A Boardman woman was arrested for possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia at state Route 46 and Interstate 80.

Recovered property: A red and silver Shimano bicycle was recovered in the 100 block of South Navarre Ave.

Theft: A wallet was stolen from an auto while the driver slept at Petro, 1150 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Dec. 7

Auto theft: A 2007 Pontiac G5 was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.

Theft: $6 worth of gasoline was stolen from Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Burglary: Nothing was taken in a burglary at an apartment in the 60 block of North Raccoon Road — but “You’re Dead” was written on the refrigerator.

Theft: Two Galaxy CB radios were stolen at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
