“The Wiggles” (7 a.m., Disney Channel): It’s time to welcome the new Yellow Wiggle! “The Wiggles,” the world’s leading musically antsy preschool band, is premiering its sixth season. The Aussie lads in the bright-colored shirts will be welcoming Sam Moran, who replaced the original Yellow Wiggle, Greg Page, upon his retirement for medical reasons. In Sam’s U.S. TV debut, he joins Anthony Field (blue shirt), Murray Cook (red) and Jeff Fatt (purple) for silly fun, cute songs and a whole lotta shaking.
“Cranberry Christmas” (7:30 p.m., ABC Family): Barry Manilow performs a couple of original songs in the new animated special, “Cranberry Christmas.” Set in the fictional town of Cranberryport, it’s the tale of a young girl who tries to help a grumpy man avoid a miserable holiday.
“Top Gear Winter Olympics Special” (8 p.m., BBC America): An Audi driver races against extreme skiers in the French Alps.
