• LIBERTY — Temple El Emeth was the setting at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 31 for the wedding of Shayna Beth Luntz, 7753 Lupine Drive, Columbus, and Samuel Brian Levi of Columbus.
The bride is a daughter of Bruce Luntz, 5775 Sampson Drive, and Rabbi Franklin and Darlene Muller of Liberty, and the groom is a son of Diane and Lou Lowy of Columbus and Steve and Kelly Levi of Grove City, Ohio.
Rabbi Joseph Schonberger and the bride’s father officiated. After a reception at Avalon Country Club at Squaw Creek, Vienna, the couple left for a honeymoon on the Hawaiian island of Maui.
The bride’s strapless ivory silk taffeta gown was encrusted with beads and pearls and featured a sweetheart neckline, a ruched bodice, and a cathedral train.
Black gowns were worn by Amanda Chernyak and Marla Luntz, the bride’s sisters and honor attendants, and the bridesmaid, Lori Dalvi, the groom’s sister. Flower girl was the bride’s niece, Molly Chernyak.
Ross Samuels was best man, and groomsmen were Matt Wasserman, the groom’s cousin; Ben Horn; and Tony Chapman. Ring bearer was Luke Dalvi, the groom’s nephew, and usher was Dan Chernyak, the bride’s brother-in-law.
The bride graduated from Ohio State University and is a managing partner at Bravo Cucina Italiana in Columbus. The groom graduated from Kent State University and is vice president of sales with Heating Cooling Outlet in Columbus.
The couple live in Columbus.
