Public invited to comment on parks plan

WARREN — The Trumbull County Metropolitan Parks District is inviting the public to comment on the proposed final draft of the 2009 MetroParks Master Plan.

Interested parties can view the plan online at www.metroparks.co.trumbull.oh.us by clicking on the “comprehensive plan” link.

The meeting will be at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 15 in the Trumbull County Planning Commission conference room in the county-owned Wean Building, 347 N. Park Ave.

In attendance will be members of the MetroParks Board and Trumbull County Planning Commission, as well as many residents and property owners who have helped develop the plan over the past year.

The draft is available for viewing at these locations: Trumbull County Planning Commission reception office, 347 N. Park Ave.; Warren-Trumbull County Main Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave.; Girard Multi-Generational Center, 443 Trumbull Ave.; Trumbull Soil & Water Conservation District offices, Suite 3; Trumbull County Agriculture and Family Education Center, 520 W. Main St., Cortland.

Other regular monthly business of the MetroParks Board also will be conducted.
