OU provost hired as Otterbein president

WESTERVILLE, Ohio (AP) — Otterbein College has hired a top Ohio University official to be its new president.

Otterbein announced Kathy Krendl’s appointment Friday. She’ll be the suburban Columbus school’s first female president when she takes over in July.

Krendl has served as Ohio University’s provost since 2004 and as executive vice president since last year.
