Houlettes mark 60th in S.C. with family and friends


• HUBBARD — Mr. and Mrs. William D. Houlette were joined by 19 of their family members as they marked their 60th wedding anniversary during a vacation in July at the Beachcove Resort in North Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Arrangements for the celebration had been made by the couple’s children, Darla (Michael) Roseberry and Gail Houlette. Three of their grandchildren, Christopher (Bonnie) Roseberry of Las Vegas; Brian (Sheryl) Roseberry of Waverly; and Beth (Ben) Rhoads of Waverly, along with the couple’s great-grandchildren, Ethan and Abigail Roseberry; Jacob and Josie Stewart; Kennedy and Kassady Roseberry; and Michaela and Kyle Rhoads, joined in the festivities.

Mr. Houlette and the former Loraine Pee were married Aug. 20, 1948, at the home of the bride’s parents in Youngstown.

Mr. Houlette retired in 1987 from CSX Corp. in Youngstown, and Mrs. Houlette retired in 1981 from the Hubbard Board of Education. They are members of the Church Hill United Methodist Church, in Liberty.

The couple wishes to thank family members and friends who shared the occasion with them.
