Marine Corps Cpl. Ben J. Elser, son of Diane Tenney and Benjamin B. Elser, both of Warren, along with Marines and sailors of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, III Marine Expeditionary Force, aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Smedley D. Butler, Okinawa, Japan, is deployed with the Essex Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG) in the 7th Fleet area of operations.

Elser is a 2005 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School.
