CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER

1350 Fifth Ave., Suite 106, Youngstown.

Provides medical and forensic evaluations for children and teens who may have been physically or sexually abused, as well as medical evaluations for kids in foster care. The center also is involved in community outreach program, Including a campaign to promote greater awareness of shaken-baby syndrome.

Provides education and support to patients, families, caregivers, school systems and the community. The children receive an individualized needs assessment, allowing programs to be tailored to specific multicultural, developmental, educational, emotional and psychosocial concerns.

PEDIATRIC SPECIALTY CARE

Boardman Medical Pavilion located at the St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center, 8423 Market St., Suite 300, Boardman.

Board-certified pediatric specialists provide outpatient services in genetics, nephrology, neurology, orthopedics, pulmonology and rheumatology. The Boardman Medical Pavilion is also home to the Boardman office of Akron Children’s Heart Center.
