GARDEN CLUBS

MONDAY

• Garden Gate will have a Christmas party. Dorothy Shirilla will be the hostess and Louise Vett the cohostess.

TUESDAY

• Gleaners will have a Christmas party at 11:30 a.m. at Nicolinni’s with Betsy Myers as hostess. Guests are welcome. There will be a $5 gift exchange.

• New Bedford will meet at Frankie’s Liberty Street Station, 10 S. Liberty St., Mahoningtown, Pa., for a Christmas Party. There will be a secret sister gift exchange. The agenda will include annual reports and dues for January.

THURSDAY

• Coitsville has scheduled a Christmas dinner for 6 p.m.

• Mahoning Valley Rose Society will have its annual Christmas party at 6:30 p.m. at Johnny’s Restaurant on Market Street. Officers for 2009 will be inducted.

FRIDAY

• Suburban will meet at 12:30 p.m. for a Christmas party and lunch, followed by a dessert and gift exchange at the home of Mrs. Charles Stark.
