James Wilson sets Jan. wedding with Amber Wedmore

• YOUNGSTOWN — John and Colleen Wilson, of Youngstown, announce the engagement of their son, James Wilson, and Amber Wedmore, both of Weston, Fla.

She is the daughter of Marsha Wedmore of Rockwell, Iowa, and the late Terry Wedmore.

The couple have planned a wedding ceremony to take place by invitation at 5 p.m. Jan. 16 at St. Bonaventure Church in Davie, Fla. Invitations are also being extended for a reception at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Sunrise, Fla.

The bride-elect earned a doctor of pharmacy degree from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. She is employed as a clinical pharmacist for HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Sunrise.

The prospective groom earned a bachelor’s degree in education at Ohio State University in Columbus. He is employed as client services manager for Ticketmaster in Miami.
