Washington & Jefferson 63, Grove City 30
GROVE CITY, Pa. — Freshman guard Megan Gebrosky scored 13 points in Grove City’s 63-30 loss to Presidents’ Athletic Conference rival Washington & Jefferson at the Grove City College Arena. Sophomore forward Christine Slater (pulled in a game-high 10 rebounds for the Wolverines (0-5, 0-1). W&J outrebounded Grove City, 44-31. Slater added four steals. Kennan Killeen led W&J (4-1, 1-0) with 15 points while Emily Hays added 14. Grove City will host Geneva Wednesday night at 6 p.m.

Hiram 84, Case 80
UNIVERSITY CIRCLE — Senior forward Ian Pfouts and sophomore guard Chris Roberts scored a combined 54 points. The Terriers have posted back-to-back victories and are 3-1 overall while the Spartans fall to 0-5. Hiram was led by Roberts’ game-high 29 points on 13-of-19 shooting (68.4 percent) to go along with seven boards. Pfouts tied his career-high with 25 points on nine-of-11 shooting (81.8 percent), including three-of-four from behind the arc (75 percent), and had 10 rebounds. Sophomore guard Deon Milton was the only other Terrier in double figures with 10 points.
Grove City 58, Washington & Jefferson 44
GROVE CITY, Pa. — Grove City (3-1, 1-0 PAC) held W&J to just 29 percent (17 of 58) shooting from the field. The 44 points are the fewest surrendered by Grove City since yielding 28 points to D’Youville on Feb. 17, 1999. It is also the first time since a 49-48 win at Thomas More on Jan. 20, 2007 that the Wolverines held a team to less than 50 points. Senior guard Ryan Gibson fired in 16 points for the Wolverines while senior guard Joe McCoy added 11 points. Grove City shot 24 of 47 (51 percent) from the field, including a 6-for-13 effort behind the three-point line. Brian Felker and Matt Drakeley each scored eight points for W&J. Grove City has won 14 straight regular-season home games against W&J. The Wolverines will host Geneva Wednesday at 8 p.m.
