Sunday’s games
Trail Blazers 96, Pistons 85
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — LaMarcus Aldridge scored 27 points and Greg Oden had a career-high 13 rebounds for Portland. Brandon Roy scored 19 points and Oden finished with 10 for Portland. Richard Hamilton had 18 for Detroit.
Bulls 103, 76ers 92
PHILADELPHIA — Ben Gordon scored 21 points and Drew Gooden had 20 points and 12 rebounds for Chicago. Derrick Rose contributed 18 points and 10 assists for the Bulls, who finished a seven-game, 12-day road trip. Elton Brand had 21 points and 12 rebounds, and Thaddeus Young added 17 points for the Sixers.
Nuggets 104, Rockets 94
DENVER — Denver didn’t need Carmelo Anthony’s usual double-digit performance to beat Houston. Chauncey Billups scored 28 points, including 11 in a 19-7 third-quarter run the Nuggets used to break away from the Rockets, who played their third straight game without Tracy McGrady (sore left foot). The Nuggets lost their leader when Anthony took a seat in the second quarter after aggravating a sore right elbow that’s been bothering him for two weeks. Anthony scored just two points, halting his NBA-best streak of consecutive games in double figures at 221. That honor now goes to LeBron James, who has scored in double figures 134 straight times.
Nets 117, Suns 109
PHOENIX — Devin Harris scored a career-high 47 points, including 21 in the fourth quarter, and New Jersey ended its 14-game losing streak at Phoenix. The Nets had not won at US Airways Center since their first visit in 1993, but they used a late run to overcome the Suns. With Harris becoming the second player in two games to score more than 40 against the Suns — Miami’s Dwyane Wade had 43 Friday night — the Nets scored their second road victory in two nights, after beating Utah on Saturday.
