Safety tips

Lt. Kal Adorjan, a veteran Beaver Township police officer, offered these tips to protect yourself and property:

Keep a telephone by your bed at night and let local police know when you are out of town.

Avoid taking short cuts through areas you don’t know or that are desolate.

Always keep keys handy when getting into your car or going into your home.

Don’t let just anyone into your house. Ask for identification if the person says they are from a utility company or service provider.
