• LOWELLVILLE — Jordan Daniel Taylor and his bride, the former Katie Anne Niemi, honeymooned on Jekyll Island, Ga., following their wedding on July 5 at Victory Christian Center and reception at the Georgetown in Boardman.

Pastor Daniel McNaughton officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of William and Denise Niemi, 14065 Washingtonville Road, Salem, and son of John and Debbie Spiese, 14151 Washingtonville Road, Salem.

The bride is completing her student teaching and will graduate in December from Cedarville University with a degree in early childhood education. The groom graduated from Valley Forge Christian College in Phoenixville, Pa., with a degree in children’s ministry. They live in Fairborn.

The bride’s strapless, A-line taffeta gown featured a corset back and sweetheart neckline and richly ornamented lace swept into a side wrap.

Wearing watermelon pink gowns were the bride’s sister and honor attendant, Ashley Niemi, and the bridesmaids, Kaitlyn French; Julie Taylor, a sister of the groom; and Amariah Fitch, his cousin. The bride’s cousins, Ryan Alderfer, and his twin sister, Anna Alderfer, were ring bearer and flower girl, respectively.

The groom’s uncle, Gary Fitch, performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Chris Stewart, Brett Wagner, Justin Dela Cruz, and Christian Fitch, the groom’s cousin. Guests were ushered by Justin Niemi, the bride’s brother, and Rocky Carr.
