• WASHINGTON, D.C. — Dahlgren Chapel of the Sacred Heart in Georgetown was the setting at 5 p.m. Aug. 16 for the wedding of Dr. Elizabeth Lynn Gray, of Washington, daughter of Edward and Suzanne Gray, 538 E. Western Reserve Road, Poland, and Dr. Niall John Rea of New York, N.Y., son of Bernard and Åine Rea of Dublin, Ireland. The Rev. Leo Murray officiated.

The couple were honored during a reception at 1789 Restaurant. They postponed their wedding trip to Africa until November and live in New York.

The bride’s strapless satin gown featured a dropped waist, A-line skirt, and detachable train.

Light teal gowns were worn by the bride’s sister and honor attendant, Rebecca Gray Bavuso of Downington, Pa., and her cousin and the bridesmaid, Hannah Marie Grantz of North Lima.

Paul Rea of Dublin was best man for his brother, and groomsman was Miche °l Mullarkey of Dublin. Ring bearers were the bride’s nephews, Miles and Grayson Bavuso of Downington.

Treasa Ni Mhioc °in of London, England, served as cantor.

The bride graduated from Georgetown University, School of Foreign Service, with a bachelor’s degree in international relations, and from Trinity College in Dublin with a doctorate in computer science. She is a consultant with Accenture in New York.

The groom earned a bachelor’s degree in computer and electronic engineering and a doctorate in electrical engineering from Trinity College Dublin. He is a financial engineer with First Derivatives in New York.
