Local victims

Following are some of the victims of violence in Columbiana County. Others have disappeared.

Earl Tweed was killed in East Liverpool at his store on July 30, 1973.

Irvin Keefer was shot during a robbery at his gas station-mini mart in Glenmoor on Jan. 14, 1976.

Dick Hubbard, who owned a truck stop at state Route 7 and 14 in Columbiana County, was shot and killed outside his apartment in Salem on June 6, 1986.

Gene Lysle of Wellsville has been missing since June 13, 2004. He was last seen by a family member when he began to hitchhike to a concert.
